Differ Solar is the commercial and industrial arm of Differ Community Power, founded in 2020 as a subsidiary of Differ Group. We work out of Oslo, Lilongwe and Nairobi, with country managers in place and a permanent field service organisation rather than fly-in crews. In some markets we have formal offices; in all of them we work with contracted partner organisations.

Our discipline comes from five+ years of running distributed assets in difficult conditions: if a system fails at a rural clinic, someone has to drive there. Planning to avoid that trip is the constraint that shapes how we specify equipment, how we document installations, and why we hold engineering, procurement and quality accountability in-house while local partners do the installation work under our sign-off. We retain responsibility for all activities.
